For people who travel a lot each year, they naturally gain an intuition about what are reasonable expectations to have concerning the quality of their overall travel experiences, and the various factors that contribute to this insight. I have certainly come to appreciate the value of any special amenities that an airline or hotel offers that serve to make life easier for international or local travellers who may need that extra edge while journeying to their hearts’ desire. Particularly for business travellers, sometimes these niceties turn into necessities when contending with time-sensitive meetings or other objectives that require them to be at their respective destinations.
I earlier wrote about my pleasant surprise to discover London Heathrow Terminal 4 in October 2023 as a previously unknown departure point for returning home to Canada, which includes my overnight stay at a quality airport hotel connected by a covered walkway. I had a very satisfying experience staying there for my first time, and easily saw myself returning there on future trips to Europe.
